Jim Turner
Hi!  I'm Jim Turner, an award-winning, multi-skilled video professional with experience in pre-production, broadcast, production, and post-production.  I’m skilled at developing projects from concept, script and storyboards to finished productions, and have created work that has been featured on rolex.com, Tudor watches, Funny or Die, College Humor, Huffington Post, New York Times, TimeOut NY, etc; as well as festival selections for SXSW film, NYTVF, BIFF, LA Comedy Shorts, and Vancouver Web Fest.
I'm originally from Missouri, and moved to NYC in 2005 to pursue my love of filmmaking.  I have been fortunate to work with many amazing people.  I worked to develop several narrative, comedic, web-series, directed music videos, worked on films, broadcasts, commercials, and co-founded the Magnet Video Lab workshop as part of the Magnet Theater NYC.
In 2019, I moved back to Missouri, and am now based out of St. Louis.  My passion is directing, and helping to bring the pages to life on screen, and I love all aspects of filmmaking.
I have worked as a director, producer, cinematographer, editor, motion graphics artist, gaffer, and audio technician.
